Safeway stores are making it easy to give back to schools this year with Box Tops for Education and the “10% Goes Back to Schools” program! Four new brands are participating in the program this year: Progresso Soup, Totino´s Pizza, Betty Crocker Cake Mixes and Gold Medal Flour!
To help your local schools earn even more all you need to do is look for the “10% Goes Back to Schools” yellow school bus tags on over 2,000 items throughout Safeway stores through September 14th. When you purchase participating products with your Club Card, Safeway will give 10% of the purchase price to the local school of your choice!
The total that you have accumulated will show on the bottom of your receipt each time you shop. Beginning on September 18, a redemption code will be printed at the bottom of your receipt. Once you get your redemption code you can visit backtoschools.escrip.com before October 13 to choose your favorite participating local school, then simply enter your redemption code to make your donation.

It’d be the cake mixes because I’m going thru a Pineapple Upside-Down cake phase right now. Craving it incessantly. Found a new way of doing it and it’s SO GOOD! I use crushed pineapple, instead of rings, and I pour half of it on the bottom of the pan with the brown sugar/butter/cherries and put the other half directly into batter. Mhmmm! =P
