The Oh Say Can You See Program by Charter Communications allows Active duty military family members the opportunity to request a FREE webcam! Their hope is that these webcams will make it just a little easier for Active duty military men and women to connect with their families while they are away.
To qualify for this program, you must have a family member that is currently serving in the United States military on Active duty. There is a limit of one webcam per household and you can expect your webcam to arrive in around 4 to 6 weeks. After you receive your webcam you will be able to create a video message for your active duty family member!
You will need to make sure that you system meets the following requirements required to use the webcam:
Available USB 2.0 port
Intel Pentium 4 with 1.75GHz or AMD Athlon XP 2000+ 1.67GHz processor or faster
512MB RAM or higher
Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2, or Windows Vista, or Windows 7, or Mac OSX: 10.4.3 Tiger or higher
In order to video chat you will need a high-speed Internet connection.

Thanks for sharing this. I am a chairman for a family readiness group in Alabama. Our soldiers are being deployed next year. This is going to come in handy for many of their families.
