I agree with Jennie. I used to work for a company very similar to Snapfish and we ran promotions like this all the time. Trust me, if Snapfish didn't want you to be able to buy ANY product then the coupon wouldn't work on ANY product…they aren't stupid. They love to get new customers through promotions like this. I don't think it is shady in the least.

No I actually don't find it shady or sneaky at all. In fact, Snapfish and other online photo companies often run promotions where they are giving away items for completely free. Just wait until Christmas… we will see many free photo card deals. The point of these promotions are not to make money, it is to gain more first time customers. Just like a loss leader on a grocery store deal, Snapfish hopes to get us in the door and use their services for our future printing needs.
