Costco is offering free entry into their stores with no membership required to all Military ID card holders during the government shutdown!
If you are a military ID holder, just head on over here to find a Costco location in your area and then make sure to bring your military ID with you to the store. You also may want to call ahead to verify that your store is participating since this is such a short notice and hopefully short duration promotion. 😉
Here is the official statement from COSTCO:
COSTCO welcomes military ID card holders. Due to the government shutdown and closing of the commissaries, COSTCO will allow military ID card holders to shop at their stores — even if they are not members already.”

Not true. This is only in certain locations. Sterling, VA store manager said absolutely no way to me.
