My American Dreamer story…

When I was a teenager in high school I worked at our small town’s local grocery store as a cashier. I liked my job well enough, but what I really wanted was to be a receptionist. Why? I have no idea but that was my dream at the time!

I never did get a receptionist job at the grocery store…because the position didn’t exist and they were not willing to create it for me. Imagine that! 😉

I did, however, apply for a front desk position at a local water company and I got it! That was really the first time I realized that I could do anything I wanted…that I could become anything I wanted if I was willing to work for it. From there my dreams have continued to grow and I never intend to stop perusing them.
