I usually do this around Thanksgiving, but I think it’s something we should continuously do every day so for this week’s Faithful Friday activity…
What are you thankful for today?

I’m so thankful for a much-needed spur-of-the-moment playdate with a good friend yesterday. She spoke Truth, and encouraged me.
Funny: we talked about thankfulness at MOPS today too! Coincidence? I think not! 🙂

I am thankful that we can write about our faith without fearing a knock on the door!! Also thankful that there are brave soldiers all around us, working diligently so that we always can have that freedom to express our faith! Thankful, too, for Chris Tomlin concert at Red Rocks tomorrow!!!!!! 🙂
Jennie says
Ohhh have fun Dawn! I’ve seen him on concert…SO good!

I am thankful for a wonderful friend (and godmother to my babies) whose elective mastectomy and reconstruction to reduce her chance of getting breast cancer by over 90% is going well. Second surgery was just completed. And the most wonderful part is how God has walked with her on this tough journey!

I am greatful for finding a wonderful husband who works hard to support our household so i can stay at home and raise our beautiful children. It is all about teamwork!

I’m thankful for a faithful husband (of 18 years) who is a Christ-like provider, our home and three healthy Christian children (the youngest was baptized at Christmas)! All these blessings are what really matters in life and are one hundred fold the blessings in comparison to my own childhood when my own parents divorced. All the things I lost as a child have been given back to me now to overflowing! God may not flood the whole world again with water but He floods my world with blessings!!

I am thankful for past experiences. Today especially, I am happy to have had the past experiences that have made me who I am. I am by no means finished evolving, but each experience has taught me something new, and bad or good, has given me the opportunity to grow into a better person.
Jennie says
Oh totally ditto there Madeline!! 🙂

I am so thankful for the church community that my husband and I have finally found and for our two beautiful children who just keep growing. And I am also thankful for our parents who support us every single day and for Spring finally coming to Colorado!
Jennie says
Amen! 🙂

Today I’m thankful for the good friends that I’ve made during the past couple of years. In the past I’ve always let being incredibly busy with my work come in between having great friendships, but I’ve really tried hard lately to turn that around and it has been so worth it!
Related note… Recently I heard that not having close friends is the equivalent of smoking 15 cigarettes a day health wise. Wow!

Love that you’re reminding us to be grateful at all times of year. I’m thankful for my family and our home today.
