1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Those that know me best will tell you that I have a tendency to over analyze things. đ I can sometime think, think, think, think, think myself into what often turns out to be a great big circle…and I end up right back where I started. Is anyone else with me on this?
Something that God has been teaching me is that there are many things in life that no amount of thinking/worrying/analyzing can cure. Often times all that can be done is to cast all of that “stuff” on to him.
Why? Because he cares for us. In fact, I think “cares” is a bit of an understatement. đ He gave His life for us so that we can have true life and live abundantly! I’ve found it to be a tremendous relief to be able to say to myself “nope, I’m not thinking about this right now…because it is not mine to think about…God, I’m trusting you to guide and direct my steps in this situation and in all situations.”…and be done with it! Now, I’m not always the best at doing that, but I’m working on it…and sometimes taking the seemingly simple step of being intentional about giving it back to God is all it takes to calm my worried heart. Â
None of us were created or intended to walk around with all the burdens of life on our backs. I hope you will consider joining me on my journey of learning how to trust God more each day….and how to truly cast all the cares of life on to Him.

Timely! I was driving home last night thinking/worrying/ analyzing some things that aren’t in my control. All of a sudden I just gave it to God, and prayed for guidence. Thank you for this!
