Jeremiah 17:7-8
But blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
They are like trees planted along a riverbank,
with roots that reach deep into the water.
Such trees are not bothered by the heat
or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green,
and they never stop producing fruit.

My precious child,
You have heard many times the reasons why you should remove the burden from yourself and place it upon me, yet you so often insist on taking matters in to your own hands. You were never intended to struggle with no hope in this life. I and I alone have all of the provisions that you need this very day. Come, set the weight of your cares and worries down and allow yourself to bask in the warmth of my presence today.

Thank you. I am going for a CT scan in a few minutes to try to figure out what is making me so sick for the last three years. I needed this. My hope is in Him… the one who is able to do all things more abundantly than we could ever ask for.

I just wanted to say thank you for your site and for your Faithful Friday verses today. I have been unemployed for almost a year and today I was feeling very stressed and worried about money. I have been waiting to find out about two jobs I interviewed for a week ago. After reading the verses it reminded me to keep my faith in the Lord, myself and in others.
Thanks for everything you do.
