Many of us know someone who was affected by the second largest tornado outbreak in US history last week. Precious lives were lost, homes and business were flattened, and a path of destruction was left behind.
The most important thing that we can all do for the affected individuals and families is to pray for peace, hope, healing and protection as they begin the clean-up process. I hope that you will all join me in doing so.
Like I mentioned in my Couponing for Community post earlier today, most of us also have stockpiles which contain many items which can help those affected by the storms. Here is a list of some of the items that they need:
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Shampoo and Conditioner
Soap
Deodorant
Dish-washing soap
Laundry Detergent
Hand Sanitizer
Clothing and Shoes
Blankets
Toys
Ziploc Bags
First Aid Items
Feminine Products
Baby Formula
Diapers
Baby Food
Toilet Paper
Kleenex
Non-perishable Food
Juice and Water
Pet Food and Supplies
Here are a few places where you can donate these much needed items:
Disaster Relief
c/o First Baptist Church of Moody

You can also go HERE for additional places that are distributing supplies.
If you would like to make a monetary donation, here are some options for that:

Do you have a contact person at the First Baptist Church of Moody? I would like to organize some donations at my church, and wanted to contact someone at FBC Moody about that.
