I’ve posted about this program in the past, but I’ve received a few questions about it recently so I wanted to remind all of you new readers about this fantastic opportunity!
Did you know that military families that are overseas can use expired manufacturer coupons for up to six months after the expiration date?
The Overseas Coupon Program serves military families by assisting all of us to forward manufacturer coupons to overseas military bases. The bundles of coupons that are sent over are then placed on tables, at the PX and Commissary, or handed out for use by military members and families on base. This in turn helps the family save valuable dollars and stretch their budget!
How You Can Participate:
Head on over to the OCP website and read the Base Adoption Informaiton Page. After you have done that you will be able to select an overseas military base to adopt and fill out the Adoption Form. Once you have that done you can start sending your coupons to the address provided next to your adopted base! It is that simple!
Please note that they will not contact you after you fill out the adoption form. After you have completed that step, you are good to go! Make sure to check-out their tips page too…it has a lot of great information on how they would like the coupons shipped.

CouponsToTroops is another program that can help you get your coupons overseas to military families. Rather than adopting a base and sending to a generic address though, we recommend sending directly to a family. By sending direct, you KNOW the coupons are making it into the hands of the family who will be using them or sharing them with others. CouponsToTroops will even help put you in touch with a military family. Check out their Facebook page at http://www.Facebook.com/CouponsToTroops or email them at [email protected] for more information!

Thanks so much for this info! I had no idea this existed but I’m sure glad it does. You can’t count me and my expired coupons totally in!
