Jennie, I was in Albertson's (Thornton) today and ran into a lady who had her coupons out and I just knew she and I would hit it off. I found out that she just matches her coupons with the sale ads on her own (which is fine) but I just had to tell her about Bargain Blessings. She was so excited to learn a little about you and how I feel about all your help in getting the best deals out there. She wrote your address down and said she would check it out. While I was checking out, another lady behind me in the line couldn't believe all the deals I was getting and that I got free Nivea body washes, Marcal paper products, Suddenly Salad, etc. She was blown away and guess what I did…..recommended YOU/Bargain Blessings. She had never gotten into couponing but she wrote you web address down and I would imagine you will soon have two more fans! In the past, I have recommended you to shoppers in K-Mart, Wal-mart, King Soopers, etc. because I LOVE your blog and I don't mind telling everyone who will listen that I do. You're the best! Thanks so much for helping me and so many others save so many dollars! 🙂 Linda

Thanks for all of the bargains you find! I also like how you rate the groceries on whether they are a good buy or not. I'd love to see a post on how to save money on taking animals to the vet. I took my dog today and was shocked at how expensive it was. I don't know if there are any creative options out there to save money.

I love Bargain Blessings! I check it daily!! I just wish my grocery stores doubled like yours do!! 😉

Love your blog, I especially find the information on free samples and free mail away stuff useful.

Writing to various companies is paying off so far! I received an email from Starkist Tuna and they said they would be sending me money saving coupons in the mail. Thanks for the great advice!

My Giant has gas in PA andbits 2.81 a gallon. Which is .10. Cheaper than the gas station. P.S. giant shoppers get cents off each gallon with the amour u spend. I received .60 off last week

In response to the gas comment…at some Safeway's in Denver there is gas as well. I am not sure how it works, but I earn gas rewards when I shop there and always get 10 cents off my gas per gallon. This week I got my gas for $2.49. Even if you don't have the reward but have a club card, it is 3 cents off per gallon. Cost Co is also a good place to go for gas, usually a little bit cheaper than the average gas station.

First, Jennie you ROCK!!! Thank you for sharing the list of companies we can write to for coupons. I started yesterday by doing 7 a day and I have heard back from 5 of those companies thanking me and sending me coupons. THANK YOU!!!

I think one of my favorite deals from this site so far was the cheap stamps from stamps.com! I love that they were less expensive than regular stamps and they have an adorable picture of my kiddos on them!!
Sela says
ditto to all the previous comments! I follow several "deal" blogs, but yours is the most useful to me, thanks for all you do!! I hope one of these days I can make it down for your couponing class (I live about 1.5 hours away)

I also want to put in a huge thanks for all the time you put into this website. I have been using coupons religiously for almost three years now at our local KS, but since recently finding this website I have learned so many new things and have really discovered all the great deals beyond my local KS store. I was at Target last night getting some awesome deals and the lady behind me was very interested in all my coupons and was asking me how I do it. She asked if I could tell her any websites off the top of my head to help her, and I immediately shared yours with her. Thanks for all you do!
Sarah says
I second Rachelle's thought – thank you so much for the list of websites to request coupons / samples, etc. I'm going to shoot for 5 a day. Can't wait!

I keep your blog open on my web browser so I can check all the new posts through out the day as I get on my computer…I just hit the refresh button and bam! I get wonderful information 🙂

I check this site a few times a day to see what great deals are out there and to see what everyone is snagging at such great prices. I used to live in CO and miss Safeway and King Soopers so much. I wish I could shop like you guys. I cut coupons and shop sales but nothing like you guys do. Maybe when the kids get into school I can spend more time on it. Thanks for this site and the encouragement it provides me to shop better and spend less. Ann Marie

I told a friend about the money I was saving through couponing and directed her to your site as one of the best blogs to start with!

I know this is kind of off-topic, but gas has gotten so expensive in the past few months!! There's an "Everyday" gas station on the corner of Union and Kentucky in Lakewood that has gas for $2.59! Literally twenty cents less than the gas station three blocks away. Just thought I'd point it out for those living in the area- I know there are a few of us, and it's a huge savings for this area!!
Also, I managed to get my groceries down to $92 yesterday- my average for the past few months has been $130/week! My goal was to knock $30 off my groceries by using coupons, and I went above it last night!! So excited. 🙂

I am so thankful I found this site. After just a few weeks I have already saved TONS of money and have a nice little stockpile started. It is helping my stress level.:)

Copperrose~ I don't know if I'd say it is common practice, but I do know that some do have multiple cards. You will just need to make sure to stay very organized, as it can get confusing to track which eCoupon is on which card. 🙂 I get ebtween 4-5 papers each week. Most of them come from family and friends.
Thanks Kim…you're too sweet.
Kim says
Just wanted to say that I love all the info that I get from Bargain Blessings! Comes in handy in this day and age 🙂

I was wondering if it is common practice to have more then one loyalty card to King Soopers or Safeway in order to get additional electronic coupons or deals? Also, how many copies of the newspaper do people subscribe to? I currently just gather coupons from my neighbor how doesn't use them and then I bring back a freebie from the shopping trip for him.
