Colorado Silly Pig Mud Run: Get the Family Together for Some Muddy Fun This Summer!

I’m excited to announce the Silly Pig Mud Run  as one of the July sponsors of our Savings Nation Grocery Savings workshops!

The Silly Pig Mud Run is a 5k run designed to bring out the inner child in you that longs to get muddy, wet and have lots of outdoor fun in beautiful Colorado. The course is designed for anyone from the serious
athlete to your neighbor next door. The minimum age  for the Silly Pig is 14 years old by race day.

Obstacles you can expect in the race:

• Tunnel Crawls
• Mud Pits
• Tire Obstacles
• Cargo Net Crawls

Doesn’t that sound like a blast!?! I have to say that on hot summer days like today, crawling around in the mud sounds pretty nice. 🙂 I was just looking at the race map  and it looks like this will be quite the event!

This year the Silly Pig Mud Run will be partnering with a wonderful organization called Homes For Our Troops  which builds specially adapted homes for our severely injured soldiers and their families. There have been many homes that have been built in CO including several in Elizabeth and in Parker. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to HFOT and you will have the option when you’re registering to make an additional donation to them.

The Silly Pig Mud Run will be head on July 29th in Aurora, CO.
