A few months ago, I worked with the King Soopers team to get clear direction on their new coupon policy. During that time they wanted to make it very clear to us that they value the business that couponers bring to their stores. It was so refreshing for me to hear this from them…finally a store that really “gets it”. Since the new policy rolled out, they have been continuing to work hard to communicate the details to their managers and cashiers.

I don’t know about you, but I really appreciate a store that can really recognize the value that we bring to their stores. Hats off to King Soopers!

  68. When our King Soopers Market Place opened in Greeley, they had both the Kroger Home Sense Toilet Paper (12 roll pack) and Paper Towels (6 roll pack) on sale for $3.29 so I stocked up. Truthfully, we have been very happy with both, especially the toilet paper. I have a hard time distinguishing it from the name brands. So if you’re thinking about Kroger brand and it’s on a good sale, I’d go for it! I know I will!

I must add that I have hit Walgreens, Kmart, Target, & King Soopers in the past week to coupon and I had problems at WAGS and felt very much like an ‘annoying couponer’, I did everything I was supposed to do at Kmart and walked out frustrated, embarrassed, and empty handed while the clerk & manager could not give clear direction on their policies or the one day coupon event, and was disappointed in my Target trip because most products were unavailable or cleared already and they look at you like your are a freak for couponing too. On the other hand, at KING SOOPERS, the clerk not only knew the policies, she made sure I didn’t forget to swipe my card, and treated me with the respect ANY paying customer deserves, while being friendly and welcoming the entire time, even when I did make an error and have to change my plan. THANK YOU KING SOOPERS!!!!! (And by the way, I rewarded that awesome clerk by buying her the McDonalds Peppermint Mocha she was telling me was soooooo Yummy!)
