I’m always looking for fun ways to get away without breaking the bank, so I was pretty intrigued by a new offering from Groupon called Camp Groupon – Chicaco!
Groupon has pulled together their resources in Chicago to great a weekend of fun July 6th through July 8th. What I love about this is that it is a custom-designed, all-inclusive weekend of fun and discovery for $749 per person. Here is everything that comes along with this package:
*Two-night stay at a four-star, luxury hotel such as Swissôtel Chicago, Hyatt Regency Chicago or Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park
*$100 Groupon gift card per person if you share a room with someone else. Gift cards distributed at check-in. Learn about Groupon Bucks here.
*Six meals, including lunches at restaurants such as The Signature Room, Piece Brewery and Pizzeria, and Café Ba-Ba-Reeba!
*$25 towards GrouponNow! deals during Camp Groupon weekend
*Admission to Movie Night at Wrigley Field and $25 towards concessions
*Admission to a private party at Navy Pier’s Grand Ballroom with performances by Counting Crows and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals; open bar included
*Three recreational activities, tours or Chicago experiences
*Transportation from hotel to activities provided by US Coachways
*Taxes and tips included
So basically the only thing that leaves is your airfare! Not a bad deal in my book, especially when you consider all of the activities. You’ll be able to select from everything from concerts to skydiving and a ton more.
Check out all the details and customize your adventure on the Camp Groupon Chicago page!

Wow, that does sound like an awesome deal. I can only imagine a movie night at Wrigley – that would be such a treat, even knowing there are lights there.
If anyone grabs this deal, please make a pit stop at Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder on Clark and take pics of the pizza for me! Asking to bring me back a dawgie bag would be too much 🙂
(Pish posh … now I’m salivating for CPOG like Pavlov’s Dawg.)
