Best Buy Shopping on Black Friday: I have shopped at best Buy many times during the last 10 years. Bottom line is that if you want a doorbuster you are going to have to camp out overnight in most areas. If you go later in the day be prepared to stand in very long lines. Although, Best Buy is one of the more organized and prepared stores on Black Friday, the number of customers in the store makes long lines inevitable. Have you shoped at Best Buy on Black Friday before?

Last year was my first year shopping black Friday at Best Buy. The line was LONG and moved ok. The few deals we did made the line worthwhile. The line at Kohl’s was ridiculous, it was super long and super slow. Best Buy did seem to be one of the most organized stores for the crowds.

I worked at the Park Meadows Best Buy last year on Black Friday. Jennie is right about the need to camp out overnight for door busters. But many of the other deals will be available for late-comers. They really have some great deals. And most of the comments I got last year were that even though the lines looked long, they moved very fast. Don’t rule this store out because of crowds. If you have a techy to shop for, it will be worth your while!

My mom and I go every year….Our girls tradition! We usully do end up at Best Buy, but we have learned not to go first thing in the morning. They usually do have great deals, but like you said you have to camp overnight to get any of them! We would rather pay a little extra for whatever items there we wanted than miss some of the other store’s openings. We are not usually in the market for the big ticket items anyway, but we will go see what movies or video games they have left.
