Amazon to Start Collecting Sales Tax in Colorado February 1st

Heads up Colorado readers! Beginning in just a few days, Amazon will start collecting sales tax on purchases in Colorado. 

Amazon currently collects state taxes in 27 other sates, but this is new for Colorado. In the past, consumers were still legally required to pay sales tax in our state, but Amazon left that up to consumers to voluntarily self-report. 

If you’ve got some items that you know you’re planning to purchase, make sure to pick them up before the end of the month to save a little extra money!
