I found out about the Bargain Blessings website in April of this year, just a month after I had a baby. I knew I was going to quit my job to stay home with my new daughter but I didn’t know how we were going to be able to afford it. I had tried couponing before but things just didn’t add up and make sense, until I came across your website. Jenna explains so many things in such a clear and concise way that it just clicked. My first trip out was to Walgreens and I spent $27.00 for almost $100.00 worth of items. I was hooked! We are spending a fraction of the money we were spending before, getting two to three times the amount of food and I now LOVE grocery shopping (I despised it before). Our cupboards are full, are wallets aren’t empty and I cook WAY more than I did before because we have food in the house. This cooking cheaply acquired food has another bonus, we don’t eat out saving us further money. Another thing I was worried about with not working were holidays, would my family have to go without because we are living on half the income as before? The answer is NO. I have half of my Christmas shopping done for about 1/10th of the price I paid last year, and I even have a gift for my step-daughter for her 9th birthday (she turns 8 next week!) But best of all, my family can give. We never really had the resources to give before, if I bought the $2.79 toothpaste it was because WE needed it. I can honestly say that we are not going to use all of the 17 tubes of toothpaste and 34 sticks of deodorant that I know have living under my bathroom sink. We are going to be able to really give for the first time in our lives and that feels fabulous!
Bargain Blessings has truly changed my life and the lives of my family.

I have been a Bargain Blessings user for only a few months, after moving to the Denver area and hearing about it from a friend. In that short time I have learned all about couponing and how to save big on my grocery bills, all while earning tons of free stuff and having fun doing it! I used to be a strict “generic-products-only” person, but after Bargain Blessings taught me how to get name-brand items for cheaper than generics (or for free!), I have been able to get more of the products I like and more variety as well. I am now a devoted Bargain Blessings fan and still learning new ways to save every day!

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical at first. Could a completely free website really teach me how to save my family hundreds of dollars? It didn’t take long to figure out that the answer to that question was overwhelmingly yes! I have been able to cut my grocery budget by $300 per month by using Bargain Blessings. My husband is now amazed when I get home from the store and tell him about how little I spent. We now have the extra money to take vacations and do other fun things that we would have never been able to do before.

I took Jenna’s coupon class back in March of 2010 and it changed everything I used to think about shopping and spending money. I used to hate going to the grocery store, but now it has been a fun little game to see how much value I can get for my money. My husband works very hard so that I can stay home with our two young girls and I see this as my way of doing my part to provide for the family.

I have a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids between 15 and 1 w/ 1 on the way in June) and I have to say my grocery shopping has been spectacular. Since Janaury I’ve tracked my expenses in groceries and have only spent $1046.45, but I’ve saved $1061.39. Each shopping trip gets better and better. I never thought I could get out of the “saved 40-50% range”, but March has been great and I’ve saved anywhere from 58-94%! Occassionally I report on my FB what I saved for the day and have gotten 4 more friends on the couponing wagon. First place I refer them to? Bargain Blessings!! 🙂 haha. I give them tips on what I do that works for me, but tell them to also read how you keep organized as well to see what works for them. It’s been great, thanks again!
